Nomination Wednesday – Glitter Positive Thoughts and Prepare for Life Ahead

Welcome to another Nomination Wednesday post, where we take a look on the people who have inspired everyone around the world.

This week’s nomination goes to Louise Pentland, a.k.a. SprinkleofGlitter. Like her best friend Zoella, Louise is another YouTube sensation, vlogger, blogger and fashion icon.

About SprinkleofGlitter?

Louise began her SprinkleofGlitter career by setting up a blog page in 2009. This was followed by her YouTube Channel of the same name in January 2010. Since then, Louise’s blog has over 159 million followers, while her channel (as of September 2015) has nearly 2,280 subscribers. Louise also has a second YouTube channel called Sprinkle of Chatter, which has over 1 million subscribers. Louise has also done collaborations with many YouTubers including Zoella, ThatcherJoe, PointlessBlog and Caspar Lee.

Why Did I Nominate SprinkleofGlitter?

Louise is another, amazing, inspirational person. I’ve been a fan of Louise’s for a few weeks now and she is a absolute sensation. Also, she is a wonderful mother to her daughter and she is always a cheerful person who can turn a frown upside down. 🙂

She’s certainly a sprinkle of hope, love and happiness – proof that anyone can make it anywhere and inspire others.

Louise, if you are reading this, I just want to say a massive thank you and keep on sprinkling, wherever you are.

Nomination Wednesday – Fashion Icon and YouTuber. Guess Who?

Welcome to my first Nomination Wednesday post, where we take a look on the people who have inspired everyone around the world.

This week’s nomination goes to Zoe Sugg, a.k.a. Zoella – YouTuber sensation, English fashion icon, author and beauty vlogger.

About Zoella

When she started her blog “Zoella” in February 2009, Zoe was working as an apprentice for interior design company. Since then, her blog (as of March 2014) reached a total of 140 million visits. Then, her blog turned into a YouTube channel and it has been running ever since. Her main YouTube channel, however, has reached 7 million subscribes (as of January 2015; more is still to come). Along the way, she has done many collaborations on her channel with other YouTubers including Louise Pentland, Tanya Burr, Alfie Deyes, Tyler Oakley and her brother, Joe Sugg (and by the way, he’s not a daily vlogger).

In 2014, she published her debut novel, Girl Online, which became fastest selling book of 2014, reaching an amazing total 78,109 copies! Her next novel, Girl Online: Girl On Tour will be released in October 2015.

Zoe has also appeared on television, such as Loose Women and the Band Aid 30 music video, “Do They Know It’s Christmas”.

And we mustn’t her wonderful beauty products Zoella Beauty, which became “biggest beauty launch of the year”, according to the Metro.

Why Did I Nominate Zoella?

I’ve been a fan of Zoe, since last year. I was going through a difficult time, following heart break and social neglect by many of my friends. So the only option was to watch YouTube – then, along comes Zoella. In time, I was beginning to fall in love with her videos, especially ones with her so cute pug, Nala. But it was her beautiful, creative novel that made me love Zoe ever more. Plus, it was the book that everyone was talking about; while I was reading it, most of my peers would ask, ‘What are you reading’? Or ‘How are you finding it?’ Although it may not improved my friendships, I can say that Girl Online has made want to read a lot more books and write too. I really cannot wait for Girl On Tour.

She’s also an inspiration for children, teenagers and young adults everywhere. She’s charitable, kind and fun. Zoe should be proud of herself because she makes everyone’s day, like a rainbow shining in the sky.

Zoe, if you are reading this, I want to say, “thank you” and don’t stop believing. 😊

Dream Big #1 – Becoming a Joint Author with Favourite Authors

I love reading books from each category and by my favourite authors. From them, I’ve been inspired to dream to write a duet novel. However despite my one of my main, big dreams, I have also wanted to be a joint author, share ideas and write a novel with my favourite author/s. I think it’ll be interesting and really, really fun. It will be an honour to work with these amazing people.

So, here they are my top five authors who I want to write a joint novel with.

  • Helen Fielding – I love all her Bridget Jones works (I’ll be publishing her latest Bridget Jones novel very soon); her writings have a lot of charm, character and creativity.
  • Zoe Sugg – Girl Online was a huge favourite of mine; I became over excited by Zoe’s wonderful story setting and characters.
  • Philippa Gregory – I love Philippa’s Historic stories, mostly her Medieval and Tudor series – they are truly remarkable.
  • Robin Maxwell – I adored Jane: the Woman who Loved Tarzan – it is wonderfully and thoughtfully written, which made me smile.
  • Holly Smale – Like Helen Fielding, Holly’s Geek Girl series have made me uplifted with laughter; it is also very powerful and beautiful.

So that was my list for writing novels with joint authors. 🙂
