actingmylife – A Year Later… [What A Journey It Has Been]

When I was little, I never dreamed of setting up a blog. Or even one, in the eyes of an Autistic woman. My original, ultimate dream job was to be a Historian – then an actress – then a Historic Tour Guide – then an author – then a television presenter – then an actress again – then finally, a workshop leader in a Children’s Youth Theatre Company. But although I kept changing my mind of what job career I would like, there’s one thing that has remained the same: my love for creativity.

I believe that by expressing and experimenting my creativity, I learn to understand myself. Whither it’s through poetry, story-telling or dancing. And I couldn’t be more thankful because without my passion, I wouldn’t be able to be where I am today. But the biggest thank you’s have to go to all of you lovely viewers and followers.

This past year has been A- MAZ-ING! Honestly, I cannot tell you how happy I am; not only with your support but with your enthusiasm. Without this blog, I would never have been able to do write articles with many fabulous bloggers and create a YouTube channel. And I own a huge graduate to you because with you, I would never have been able to grow and share my blog within the Internet Community.

And in return, I always take my time to read your wonderfully talented articles. Although I try, it’s very hard to keep because of my studies. But when I can, I always read leaving no detail detached. You guys are super, super, super talented. Never stop doing what you do because your blogs will make a difference. And it doesn’t matter if you have a massive or tiny amount of followers. 😉

In honour of actingmylife’s first birthday, I want no celebrations, or any fuss. Instead, I want to celebrate by saying thank you, and hope to write more articles and record more vlogs for you in the future.

I am going to round up this special article with a quote by Albert Einstein, whose belief in creativity suggests that it can take you anywhere in the future. All it takes is faith in yourself:

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”
