Trick or treat,

Bubble and squeak,

There’s more to believe

On All Hallow’s Eve.
Witches, and gouls,

Frankenstein and his tools

Ruling over the day

Where the wicked come and play.
So, beware, beware

For monsters who scare

And have fun,

Children and adults everywhere.

Silly Bucket Sundays – #51 – #55

Hello, everyone.

It’s that time again; for another Silly Bucket List Sunday.

Here are the next things that I’ll never do – some of them are silly and the rest are really daring.

  • Eating a three tier wedding cake, all by myself.

  • Sneak into a Pizza Express restaurant and helping the chiefs with the cooking.
  • Create a dress, with second-hand book pages.
  • Swim in a pool of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.

  • Make a lasagne cake.

Nomination Wednesday – One of the Greatest Authors in a Generation

Welcome to another Nomination Wednesday post, where we take a look on the people who have inspired everyone around the world.

This week’s nomination goes to J.K. Rowling – the fabulous, famous author Harry Potter, whose book series had transformed many young readers from the late 20th, into the 21st Century.

I won’t do an “About” page because I know that everyone knows about J.K. Rowling. So, I’ll be moving onto the reason why section…

Why Did I Nominate J.K. Rowling?

I have always been a fan of the Harry Potter series, since I was a child. But, I never knew about the challenges that J.K. Rowling had to face before their first book was published. Harry Potter was turned down by 12 publishers before one accepted.

I found out that this information through a television movie I watched years ago, called Magic Beyond Words. Although the movie depicts sense of her life (even if some of them aren’t true), it gives an idea of what an inspirational, talented and creative author she has become. J.K. Rowling will sincerely inspire many authors for generations to come – proof that anything is possible, when people think that achieving is impossible.

She certainly has proved them wrong. May her books reign the bookshelves in years to come. 🙂

Monday Travel Songs – Love is Deficiently Around

Welcome to Monday Travel Songs, where I post and share geographic songs from all over the world. In this week’s post, we’ll be travelling to Wales with a folk song that reminds me of my birthplace.

Week Number Eight – Dacw ‘Nghariad (There is Love) by Eve Goodman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nrkgdj0bVAo

Why Did I Choose This Song?

I choose Dacw ‘Nghariad because this beautiful song reminds me of home. The old Welsh language is breathtaking and really magical, even though some people think it’s way out of date. Also, I really miss Wales so much; it’s really different from the busy surroundings of London.

One day, I would love to return to Wales. I would love to re-walk on the beaches, I would love to adventure the cities, the beautiful fields and the tall, green woodland areas. It’ll be a dream, which I hope will come true. 🙂

So, a lot of you guys may have realised why I haven’t uploaded any daily posts this week. Well, I’ve been busy uploading videos.

Yes – I have my very own YouTube account and I am now a vlogger (as well as a blogger)! Preparations for YouTube and Vlogs haven’t been easy, but I made my first steps and I am getting the hang of this.

I am excited about this journey ahead of me, making new friends from both my channel, and blog and sharing my experiences – in the view of an Autistic woman.

I’m going to leave this post here, but I’ll leave you the links down below for my first two videos:

Please have a look, if you get the chance. If you do, I hope you enjoy them.

🙂 Xxxxx
